Po hiszpańsku Dziki Zachód to Lejano Oeste, toteż taką nazwę nadano nowemu kręciołowi Bally Wulffa prezentowanemu na targach w Maladze i przeznaczonemu na rynek hiszpański. Firma z Niemeic po raz pierwszy zastosowała w tym automacie kombinację elektromechanicznych bębnów z historyjką na ekranie LCD w tzw. górnej grze. Zastosowanie ekranu TFT eliminuje dzisiątki żarówek i zdecydowanie uatrakcyjnia grę, szczególnie że na video możemy podziwiać efekty 3D. Bally Wulff Launches Lejano Oeste Video At Malaga Show
At the Malaga trade fair BALLY WULFF introduced Lejano Oeste Video, the first payout machine featuring up-to-date real time 3-D video animation combined with the traditional reel game.
Graphics of the new gaming sequences are presented on a high resolution TFT-monitor, and a Linux operating system ensures secure and steady running. The innovative LED technology replacing the customary light bulbs, plus a new cabinet inspired by car industry designs, have made Lejano Oeste Video a premium machine on the Spanish market.
The player experiences a variety of new features – e.g. »sheriff badge« roulette, bottle shooting, or smashing glasses at the saloon – and he constantly discovers new elements in the games featured in Lejano Oeste Video.
And still, the classic reel game has not been abandoned. »Lejano Oeste Video is the only machine on the market combining both elements«, explains Tim Wittenbecher, head of BALLY WULFF’s export department.
The Linux operating system ensures a secure and reliable technology. The abandonment of mainstream PC software platforms was carefully considered by the R&D department: »In comparison to a customary system, protection and security issues were the deciding factors in favour of the Linux open source solution«.
